Watching in silence,
as the world drifts into it's peaceful slumber.

   life among the starsInk runs through her veins more than blood. Her words dance through her mind faster than her fingers can comprehend. She loves too hard and cracks hearts like candy. She lives in the Milky Way, dancing on Saturn's rings and sleeping on the moon.

This is the world she lives in, far away from anyone else. No one can touch her heart or look into her eyes to find her soul. She's perfectly content living in her world of pretend with no one but the stars to comfort her.

It's a shame she has to wake up sometimes...   remember it alli bite my nails
and cry too much
i'm cynical
and hate to be wrong

i'm only human
but that's no excuse
for what i had done
and let myself become

i hope we can try again
go back to how we were
the best of friends
until the very end

when the world ends
we'll jump together
to wherever the stars
decide to sweep us to

so let's hold hands again
watch our favorites
for the millionth time
and play a round of 'the song game'

p.s. yes, i know you'll probably win, but that's just how it goes, right?   like a crane fold this paper heart
